 How did Sleep School come about?

During Tristian’s search to get to the bottom of her chronic insomnia she discovered that treatment options available to her were few and far between. At best she was lucky enough to find a compassionate ear, but nothing was really making much of a dent on her sleeping problems.   Frustrated by the lack of help available and after treating many sleep deprived naturopathy patients she realised the huge need for a dedicated sleep clinic that would teach insomniacs how to get to sleep, and stay asleep, all without the use of drugs.

Bondi Sleep School offers a unique and highly effective sleeping program that helps you relearn how to get to sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. Tristian has put the best of everything she learnt in her 20 year search for insomnia cures and rolled it into an effective and 100 per cent natural sleep school program.

Her qualifications include a BA (Pyschology) from Sydney University and an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy (encompassing Nutrition,  Counselling,  Massage, Western Herbal Medicine and Homoeopathy).

Tristian is a firm believer that unless you go through insomnia yourself you can not fully understand the effects it can have on relationships, physical and mental wellbeing, work and social life.

Treatments offered are based on up to date scientific research and combine a variety of treatment modalities including nutrition, mindfulness training, counselling, sleep therapy, relaxation massage, psychology  and environmental design. This is not a one size fits all approach and Tristian will tailor make a bespoke sleeping package to suit your individual needs.

All packages other than the one day workshops require an initial consultation to assess the severity your insomnia and create a personalised plan.

An initial 1.5 hour consultation with Tristian is required to assess the severity of your insomnia and discuss the options available to you. You will leave with an individual action plan and assessment tasks such as a sleep diary and food journal so Tristian can better assess your progress and change strategies as and when needed. You will then need to return on a weekly or fortnightly basis to discuss your progress and work on strategies needed to get you sleeping and staying asleep.
